Is there a book, a poem or an article in you waiting to be written?  CHICS is starting a writing encouragement group for any ladies interested in writing.

The writer’s encouragement group, GLOW (Giving the Lord Our Writing) will have an organizational meeting in August .  More details on this meeting will be available soon. 

Meanwhile during the summer-- Sometimes finding the time to write away from distractions can be a challenge.  To encourage creativity and discipline ourselves to carve out time for writing, we can go to the church building during the normal office hours (5 days a week, 8:30-4:30) and use an available room.  Bring your laptop or pen and paper and write—away from the distractions.  But please—no children to distract.  This is an excellent  opportunity for Christian women to have a set aside time for the sole purpose of writing.    So get those creative juices flowing.
